A pregnant model who was found brutally killed in her downtown apartment last month died from “homicidal violence” according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.Maleesa Mooney, 31, was found dead inside her apartment on the 200 block of South Figueroa Street on Sept. 12, and her loved ones are still waiting for answers.Her exact cause of death had previously been listed as "deferred," but “Cause A” is now listed as “homicidal violence” on the medical examiner’s online database. “Cause D,” meanwhile, was listed as “other significant conditions.”Maleesa Mooney, a 31-year-old aspiring model and real estate agent was found dead in her downtown Los Angeles apartment on Sept. 12, 2023. Car Collision near 94th Street Left Police Officer Hurt, Driver ArrestedLOS ANGELES, CA (October 5, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, a two-car crash on Western Avenue sent an LAPD officer to a hospital.According to the report, the collision happened around 1:30 a.m. in the area of Western Avenue and 94th Street.At this time, the circumstances that led up to the collision remain unknown. 19-Year-Old Woman Killed in Pedestrian Collision near Valentine AvenueFRESNO, CA (October 5, 2023) – Late Tuesday night, a hit-and-run incident on Ashlan Avenue claimed the life of one female pedestrian.This fatal event occurred at approximately 11:20 p.m. at the intersection of Ashlan and Valentine Avenue in northwest Fresno. Pedestrian Crash near Main Street Kills 40-Year-Old PedestrianORANGEVALE, CA (October 5, 2023) – Saturday evening, a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision on Main Avenue in Orangevale took one person’s life.The fatal collision happened around 7:30 p.m. along Main Avenue and Main Street, just south of Greenback Lane.According to California Highway Patrol, a vehicle traveling southbound at about 25 mph hit a person attempting to cross Main Avenue.Unfortunately, the 40-year-old unidentified pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
