Neighbors react to murder-suicide investigation in west St. Louis County

LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Officers with the St. Louis County Police Department were responding to a welfare check Thursday morning at a west county residence when they found the bodies of three people inside."It's kind of unbelievable, to be honest," Alexa Fountain told FOX 2.A preliminary investigation suggests the shooting in the 200 block of Glandore Drive that left three people dead may be a murder-suicide. A multi-family residence in Denver exploded Thursday evening, one person has been taken to a hospital.The incident happened at a fourplex residence in the 400 block of South Lincoln Street, the Denver Fire Department said in a 7:20 p.m. tweet.Emergency crews remained on scene Thursday night. The cause of the explosion is under investigation. A family pet, a dog, is missing in the incident.Power and gas in the area of the incident has been turned off, DFD said in an 8:44 p.m. tweet. Residents in eight residences have been displace by the explosion and structural collapse and are being aided by the American Red Cross Colorado. The Pasadena Police Department has identified the person suspected of killing a woman earlier this week following an early morning fight.After initially withholding the suspect's name, Pasadena police identified the suspect as Mark Anthony Levels, 54, of Pasadena.Levels is accused of shooting and killing 34-year-old Tynisha Houston early Tuesday morning at an apartment complex on the 2000 block of North Fair Oaks Avenue.Houston was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital where she later died.Police say Levels and Houston were neighbors in the same apartment complex. At some point prior to the shooting, a neighborly dispute began in the common area of the complex. Police in Long Beach are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly stabbed a woman working at a convenience store last year, authorities announced on Thursday. On Jan. 30, 2022, just before 12 p.m., officers with the Long Beach Police Department responded to the store, located at 919 East Broadway, on reports of a stabbing. At the scene, officers found the adult female victim suffering stab wounds to the upper body, according to an LBPD news release. Detectives with LBPD’s Violent Crime Detail say the preliminary investigation revealed that the woman was working inside the store when the male suspect entered, started an altercation that resulted in the stabbing and then fled the store on foot in an unknown direction. Nola Matthews would like to change that.Meet 16-year-old gymnast Nola Matthews from Gilroy. She spends 30 hours a week at Airborne Gymnastics in San Jose, and her hard work is paying off. Bruce Bochy to manage first game in SF since 2019 retirement Matthews competed against seven-time Olymipic Gold Medalist Simone Biles.
