A “SELL” shirt created by Oakland A’s fans to urge owner John Fisher to sell the team will be heading to Cooperstown.Baseball Hall of Fame vice president of communications and content Jon Shestakofsky said in a phone interview Wednesday that the Hall “expects to acquire” a shirt from an A’s fan to add to its vast collection of baseball artifacts.Shestakofsky said the Hall’s acquisition of the shirt isn’t directly tied to the A’s fans’ “reverse boycott” night against the Rays last week, when a season-high 27,759 fans filled the Coliseum in an effort to show that Fisher’s push to move the A’s to Las Vegas isn’t because Oakland fans don’t support the team. But the Hall is in the process of adding a “SELL” shirt to its museum’s collection because it can help tell the story of the sport.Oakland Athletics fans Alicia Puccinelli, left, of San Jose, and Diane Smith, of Livermore, wear “Sell” t-shirts during a “Reverse Boycott” event before their game against the Tampa Bay Rays at the C...One dead, 10 reported injured in crash near Byron

SAN FRANCISCO — The Warriors are heading into Thursday’s NBA Draft in a different situation than they’ve had in recent years. After three years of peering into the future, Golden State is in win-now mode this time around as it looks to maximize the prime of its aging core and add another title to this era of Warriors basketball. The Warriors’ bench depth during last season’s underwhelming title defense proved to be shallow as they were bounced from the Western Conference playoffs in the second round. Given the team’s taut financial situation, though, one of the easiest avenues to add talent to its already pricy roster is through the draft. Outside of that, they can only sign players on minimum contracts in free agency. The Warriors opted to take on teenage projects in the last three drafts: James Wiseman at No. 2 in 2020, Jonathan Kuminga (No. 7) and Moses Moody (No. 14) in 2021, and Patrick Baldwin Jr. (No. 28) and Ryan Rollins (No. 44) in 2022.
