TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Chandler Jackson scored 14 points to lead four in double figures, and Florida State jumped out early and beat Georgia Tech 82-71 on Wednesday night. Jamir Watkins added 11 points, and Darin Green Jr. and Primo Spears each scored 10 for Florida State (7-6, 1-1 Atlantic Coast Conference), which has won six consecutive home games against Georgia Tech (8-5, 1-1). (KDVR) -- A Colorado State Patrol trooper shared his story Wednesday of a scary scene on Interstate 70 near Seibert the day after Christmas.“Something caught my attention, something was wrong and basically within a few seconds that car was coming on the shoulder in direct line with my vehicle," Trooper Brett Corbin said. A man is behind bars, accused of vandalizing a South Florida restaurant on Christmas Day. Police said Damien Brack threw a rock at the door of Meson Ria De Vigo on Coral Way in Miami, Dec. 25.
